![]() Understand I'm not slamming BCF as I said I own 3 brand new BCF rods and love them. But at the very least I think we can agree that it is a defective rod, the picture seems to show some type of filler has been used on the cork so does BCF agree that they put out rods using filler to cover up damaged cork? I would be surprised if they do, and if they don't how did it get there? Correct I would not start dropping names unless I was certain of it being a defective or knock-off rod. Let us know if your rods are white or black if there white I'd be paying my dealer a visit and he would make it right or I'd be letting people know who it is so they can shop elsewhere.Ĭlick to expand. There is good dealers out there but like anything else there will be a few shady ones that may mix a few knock offs in with the real stuff to make some extra cash. We were in good shape since we bought direct from the manufacture online store. I'm not surprised though that BCF ignored or failed to mention it since they probably do not want to draw attention to the issue and definitely can not make good on someone else's fake rods. ![]() I am surprised that know one on here has heard or said anything about it. A few days after we received our rods the friend was told that there was knock-off white cork handle rods being sold by some of the dealers and the cork handle seemed to be the problem that showed it was a knock-off. I bought 3 black BCF w/EVA in July about the same time a friend of my fishing buddy purchased 2 white BCF w/cork all were purchased online direct from the BCF website. ![]()
